A few things we did on our P/390

• Connect OS/2 to OS/390 R2 using TCP/IP.
• Create a 5MB partition using Partition Magic then build an emergency OS/2 system using BOOTOS2.
• Create a 210MB mini-disk and set up an MVS 5.2.2 RESCUE system.
• Split SCPMV5 into SYSCAT and SPOOL1 to facilitate backups and system upgrades.
• Automate IPL and shut-down procedures using P390IPL.
• Control the P/390 remotely using PM2YOU.
• Log on to TSO and CICS via the Internet.
• Print on LAN printers from MVS using IP/PrintWay.
• Support large-screen (43x132) sessions on Telnet.
• Mount virtual tapes (AWSTAPE) automatically at IPL.
